United English Baptist Church is the only purely English speaking Baptist church in Ile-Ife. We exist and commit ourselves to knowing the Lord through sound biblical teachings, prayers, fellowship, discipleship and practice of the truth of God's Word, while we harness every opportunity to make Him known to the world through evangelistic works both within and beyond Nigeria. We are comprised of but not limited to businessmen and women, private establishments, members of staff of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) and other higher institutions, students (undergraduate & postgraduate) of OAU who constitute the majority, which shows that we are a home to many young people and as part of our drive to influence the future generations for God. Through obedience to God by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to moulding destinies and equipping ourselves for great places in life to shine as light for God. We give ourselves to opportunities to serve our Master through our normal schedule of worship opportunities which is not limited to the following:
